Bio:
Laura Manfre is the Co-founder and Board Chair of Sofia Sees Hope, and is currently the Director of Learning and Development for the Cloud Technology Practice at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Laura has a broad range of experience which includes roles in business development, operations and marketing at Habitat for Humanity International, The Home Depot, and for various technology startups as well as her own consulting business.
In addition to her volunteer work leading Sofia Sees Hope, Laura also serves multiple community-based nonprofit organizations in her home town and has been recognized as a Volunteer of the Year, and as one of Southeastern Connecticut’s 40 Under 40 award winners. Laura holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut, and a BA from Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland. She currently lives in Ledyard, Connecticut, with her husband, Charles, and their three children, Dante, Sofia and Luca, ages 19, 17 and 9.
