Sofia Priebe is a High School Junior in Connecticut who has LCA and is legally blind. Her
prognosis, as for all of those with LCA is total blindness. Sofia has not let that stop her, as she pursues her academic career, dances ballet, jazz and pointe. In addition to volunteering and being a spokesperson for Sofia Sees Hope, she is also a spokesperson for the “Remote Coxswain”, a technology making its way around the world that was invented by her rowing coach, Bob Berry, so she could row solo. In her spare time Sofia enjoys writing, reading and playing D&D with her friends. She is looking forward to going to university.
